Spisa Ribb - A simple and strait design of the 1950's
Spisa Ribb is one of Stig Lindberg's most classic designs of the 1950's. A simple and strait design that has kept its popularity through the years.
Spisa Ribb was made for the H55-exhibition in Helsingborg 1955. Spisa Ribb was introduced together with the oven-safe service Terma and they were thought to be used together. The service was manufactured until 1974, though some pieces remained in production until 2000. The porcelain in the service is fragile, and many pieces are chipped. Spisa Ribb also apeared on a Swedish stamp in the early 1990's.
